Photoelectrolysis Hydrogen Production

Photoelectrolysis Hydrogen Production is the production of hydrogen using a photoelectrochemical cell that absorbs solar energy and generates the necessary voltage to split water molecules. The Photoelectrolysis (also known as water splitting) produces hydrogen efficiently and inexpensively from natural sources without using fossil fuels. The Photoelectrolysis system is still in the experimental stage. However, Photoelectrolysis will become an important means to future hydrogen production because it is powered by renewable solar energy.
