Pollution Abatement

Pollution Abatement is the technology applied or measure taken to reduce pollution and/or its impacts on the environment that refers to any measure taken to reduce, control or eliminate pollution from a given environment. The Pollution Abatement used technologies including scrubbers, noise mufflers, filters, incinerators, waste water treatment facilities and composting of wastes, etc. (e.g., catalytic converters on vehicles to reduce air pollution, limiting the amount of solid waste, turning down a home thermostat, reducing electricity consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, etc.)
