Process Gap Analysis is the quantitative and qualitative comparison of a process’ current performance with its potential performance that is the delivering value to customer and stakeholder, focusing on closing process gaps essentially optimises the process performance or organisation’s business performance and efficiency. The Process Gap Analysis technique focuses on assessing process needs to investigate: problems to be solved, causing factors, existing performance gaps, reaching necessary resolution, and implementing process improvements.
