A Quasi-corporation is an entity that is not incorporated (unincorporated enterprise) or otherwise legally established, but which functions as if it were a corporation, and which have complete sets of accounts, including balance sheets. (e.g., Counties, School districts, and State agencies. etc.) A Quasi-public corporation is a company in the private sector that is supported by the government with a public mandate to provide a given service. (e.g., Telephone companies, oil and gas, water, and electric light companies, and irrigation companies, etc.)
