Rockwell Hardness

Rockwell Hardness is a hardness value based on indentation hardness of a material that measures the depth of penetration of an indenter under the different loads. The Rockwell hardness test method, as defined in ASTM E-18, obtained using a diamond cone indenter and a force of approximately 1.471 N.
