Weight by Volume

Weight by Volume is 1) the mathematical expression for a percent concentration that is defined as mass of solute divided by volume of solution and multiplied by 100%; 2) the weight per the volume of the goods to be transported. (e.g., for seaborne freight: 1 cubic metre = 1,000 kilos: for airfreight: 1 cubic metre = 167 kilos; for road transport: 1 cubic metre = 333 kilos)
