Window Dressing

Window Dressing is the arrangement of displaying goods in a store window to attract customers to hide negative facts or details, or the practice of altering financial data to appear more attract investors. The Window Dressing is actions taken to improve the appearance of a company's financial statements to give the appearance of a well-run company to investors, or to impress a lender in order to qualify for a loan. The general objective of Window Dressing is to enhance the performance of the company.
