Environmental Protection Act 1990

The Environmental Protection Act 1990 is an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that as of 2008 defines, within England and Wales and Scotland, that is the waste management and control of emissions into the environment. This act brings in a system of integrated pollution control for the disposal of wastes to land, water and air, and authorisations include the approved discharge points and the quantities and compositions of the authorised emissions.
